Ian Berrill BSc, MIOSH, MIEMA.

Ian is currently the Training Manager for ALLMI Training Ltd, the training standards and accreditation service for the Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers of Great Britain.

He is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing ALLMI’s training strategy for lorry loaders, key to this is the accreditation service which was implemented in July 2001 and is making positive steps to raising training standards for lorry loaders in the UK.

Ian has worked in the training and lorry loader field for over 7 years. Firstly with Harcros Timber and Building Supplies as Health and Safety Manger for Transport. Then as Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for Jewson Ltd. In both positions having responsibility for training on many types of plant for a fleet of over 2000 pieces of equipment and over 2000 operators.
