Mr David
Oloke (B. Eng (Civil), M.Sc (Eng), MASCE, MNSE, MCMPE, MIWRA, AIMIS)
Mr. Oloke has acquired a broad based experience
in the field of Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
He has mostly been involved
as a Lecturer and Design/Site Engineer for various Civil Engineering
works such as water treatment plants, pipelines, reinforced concrete
buildings, shell structures, silos, bunkers, steel tanks, reinforced
concrete underground reservoirs, gravity dams etc. Has also acquired
experience in carrying out soil investigations for road and building
works, geophysical surveys for underground water prospecting and
dam assessment studies.
Currently a doctoral researcher and visiting lecturer
in construction (plant) management at the University of Wolverhampton,
he is researching
into the development of an intelligent web-based system for off-highway
plant information management. The research is investigating the
development of a web-based relational database management and
model base management
system as an enhanced plant information management technique.
The system would facilitate the prediction of plant breakdown events
from history
records of plant collected under different working environments,
thereby facilitating decision support relating to fleet operations
and management.
